Getting help with SketchGPT

Common issues

• The button isn't showing up on chatgpt.com. Reload the extension from chrome://extensions, then refresh the ChatGPT tab. ChatGPT rebuilds its page often, and the button re-injects itself automatically — a hard refresh clears most of these.
• Clicking the color half does nothing. Make sure you're clicking directly on the button rather than dragging — a small drag, even accidental, is treated as moving the button rather than opening the picker.
• The sketch line doesn't match my cursor. This was a real bug in an earlier version and has since been fixed. If you still see it, you're likely on an outdated build — reinstall the latest version.
• "Paste to Chat" didn't attach an image. Use "Copy & close" instead, then paste manually with Cmd/Ctrl + V — it's the more reliable path, since ChatGPT's own paste handling can change without notice.

What SketchGPT does — and doesn't — do

It runs only on chatgpt.com and chat.openai.com, writes into the prompt box you're already looking at, and copies your sketch to the clipboard when you ask it to. It does not collect analytics, does not phone home, and does not run any code that isn't shipped inside the extension itself. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
