Privacy Policy
SketchGPT is built to need as little as possible from you.
Effective August 5, 2026
Nothing. SketchGPT has no analytics, no accounts, no tracking, and no server of its own. It never transmits anything you draw, type, or pick to us or to any third party — everything it does happens locally, inside your browser.
Chrome requires every extension to declare exactly what it can access. Here's what SketchGPT asks for and why:
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| chatgpt.com chat.openai.com |
Lets the extension place its button on the page and write into ChatGPT's own prompt box. It has no access to any other website. |
| clipboardWrite | Lets the "Copy" button on the sketch pad copy your drawing as an image, so you can paste it into the chat yourself. |
SketchGPT does not load or run code from any external server. Every script that runs is packaged inside the extension itself and reviewed as part of its Chrome Web Store submission.
None. Nothing you do inside SketchGPT is shared with, sold to, or visible to any other company or service.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new effective date above.
